I've been holidaying chez les parents this week; home for a family visit, but taking advantage of the opportunity to get some quality riding in.

I forgot how hilly it is around here. I've done 4 rides, covering about 220km. Nothing epic, but still - so sore!

Scenery is great here. And the roads are nice. I rarely put much effort into picking a route when I am here - I pick roads or points that I always love riding around, and just put together a route on the road to get out to where I want to go. I put together two of my favorite roads together this trip, for a great ride out on Munn Rd, looping around Mount Work, and swinging past Durrance Lake. I've seen some of these guys on three of the rides, each time in a completely different area:

"I frolic, you ride. Sound good?"

Despite the scenery and entertaining wild life, I'm back in Ontario next week.
